  • Mobile pilot scale biogas production system where as a raw material were used dairy wastes.

PILOT SCALE WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM

  • System with several pipe loops of polyvinylchloride and cast iron pipes (length 100 m and DN 50 and 75 mm, with circulation pump with frequency controller, clear water reservoir (10 m3), and waste water reservoir (18 m3)
  • This pilot is dedicated for drinking water discoloration and microbial regrowth studies and is used to test cleaning protocols applicable for drinking water decontamination from chemical/biological agents.

MOBILE FLUSHING CART

  • Equipped with an online turbidimeter and flow meters, dedicated for drinking water distribution network flushing according to UDF protocol.
  • This prototype was produced during FP7 project Techneu and is one of the most often used device.

PROCESSING OF SINTERED POROUS MATERIALS IN PULSED ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD –  EMC-05

  • Due to the increased interest of PM sector and manufacturers to automatic powder conveying, the laboratory of powder materials  (at BZC, Riga Technical University, Latvia) has started a search for new techniques of powder conveying. As a research result, an experimental equipment for powder conveying by pulsed electromagnetic field in closed pipe has been developed.
